On rooftops throughout New York City, another world, inhabited by majestic birds and colorful characters exists, but its end may be near.

Carmine Famiglietti made his feature film debut with Lbs, which premiered at Sundance. His second feature film, Amexicano, made its World premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, and screened at additional film festivals including The Sonoma Valley Film Festival where it won the Grand Jury Prize – THX Award. Currently, Carmine is developing TV show ideas and is writing a couple of screenplays.

    This film does not seem like it was made for the festival at all. It looks like they might have added one shot at the end to make it eligible for Tropfest- to include a tiny shot of a bridge. That shot looks like it was captured on a flip phone. Granted, I enjoyed the subject of this film, but it makes me feel badly for the filmmakers who created amazing films fully embracing the festival guidelines that this one was given such recognition. Just saying.
